Bobby earned his real estate Sales Associate license in 2004 after taking his Pre-License Education Course through Central Florida Community College.

After beginning his real estate career with ERA American Realty & Investments in Homosassa, Florida, Bobby moved to the Tampa Bay area and opened his own brokerage, Poth & Associates Real Estate. In December 2019, Bobby closed Poth & Associates and joined forces with Mainframe Real Estate to open their Gulf Coast office in Downtown St. Pete.

Bobby previously taught for the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate in St. Pete before joining forces with Manuela Hendrickson to open Elite Real Estate Academy. Bobby was raised by educators, so teaching is somewhat of a "family business." Bobby has experience in writing and leading continuing education courses for real estate licensees and community association managers in Florida.
